Toastmasters 2009: Stronger Than Ever
Toastmasters certainly can help you through life’s challenges.
While the world are experiencing a massive economic downturn the past year, Toastmasters International has grown by nearly 6 percent, with 1,073 new clubs chartering in the recently concluded 2008/2009 term – an all-time high in the history of the organization.
That means there are now more than 12,500 clubs with 250,000 members in 106 countries.
In addition, fifty-six districts achieved Distinguished status including District 51, surpassing all previous years record. We thank each one of you members of D51 for your hard work and commitment in helping others becoming more confident speakers and leaders.
