International Speech Contest Run-off A & B

As we have more than 10 Divisions that are competing for the championship, there will be two separate run-off competitions among division winners on Saturday morning before the Sunday District contest finals.

The three highest-placed available contestants from each run-off competition will then advance to the district contest finals Sunday.

It will be known as Run-off A and Run-off B.

It will follow the rules in the Toastmasters International Speech Contest Rulebook 2009

Division A, C, E, I, K, N & P will be in Run-off A.

Both the Run-off contest will begin at the same time 1.30pm at a different venue of the Riverside Majestic Hotel, Kuching.

For Run-Off A , the briefing about the contest and balloting of speech position will be held on:April 18th 2009, Saturday, 12.30pm, WINDOWs of KUCHING by District Lt.Governor Marketing Thannimalai L.

The International Speech Run-off A contest will be held at:

1. City: Kuching, Sarawak , Malaysia

2. Location: Windows of Kuching, Riverside Majestic Hotel (formerly known as Crowne Plaza)

3. Date: April 18th 2009 – Saturday

4. Time: 1.30pm (GMT +8 Kuching Local times)

Division B, D, H, J, S, W will be in Run-off B.

For Run-Off B , the briefing about the contest and balloting of speech position will be held on:April 18th 2009, Saturday, 12.30pm, DEER & LADY SUITE by District Lt.Gov. Education & Training Ritchie.

The International Speech Run-off B contest will be held at:

1. City: Kuching, Sarawak , Malaysia

2. Location: Deer & Lady Suite, Riverside Majestic Hotel (formerly known as Crowne Plaza)

3. Date: April 18th 2009 – Saturday

4. Time: 1.30pm (GMT +8 Kuching Local times)
