Keynote Address by Papa Gerald Green, DTM, Accredited Speaker (AS) 20 mins.

Gerald is Malaysia ’s first Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM - 1990) and the first Asian to receive the Presidential Citation ( Toronto 1993) – this for spearheading the formation of the Pan-Southeast Asia Territorial Council merging toastmasters from Singapore , Thailand , Indonesia and Malaysia and was  its first Chairman.

In today’s changing global economy, the needs for effective teams are more important than ever before. They will learn to develop their skill further and be equipped with effective teams’ abilities to gain a competitive edge.
Effective team is based on influence not authority, based not on “I” but “We”. It acknowledges the need for emotional intelligence, for increased interpersonal skill and effective communication.
Participants learn:
• To discuss the importance of sharing vision and involving others in setting goals.
• To demonstrate as a role model through effective communication and motivation.
